The First Time I Heard of Barack
I read this essay last night at World Net Daily. All I know is that it fits the pattern of how the Soviets have worked for the past few decades and it just disgusts me to think of this Marxist Fraud taking over our beautiful country. So many of our brave service men and women died fighting communism over the past century, it just sickens me that we have been deluded by propaganda so badly that we think this Commie Fraud has anything at all to offer we the people.
Was Barack Obama Groomed by Marxists to be the American President? I believe he was.
The Obama Deception
Here is Tom's Testimonial:
"During the period of roughly February 1992 to mid 1994, I was making frequent trips to Moscow, Russia, in the process of starting a software development joint-venture company with some people from the Russian scientific community. One of the men in charge on the Russian side was named V. M.; he had a wife named T.M.
V. was a level-headed scientist while his wife was rather deeply committed to the losing Communist cause - a cause she obviously was not abandoning.
One evening, during a trip early in 1992, the American half of our venture were invited to V. & T.'s Moscow flat as we were about to return to the States. The party went well and we had the normal dinner discussions.
As the evening wore on, T. developed a decidedly rough anti-American edge - one her husband tried to quietly rein in.
The bottom line of the tirade she started against the United States went something like this:
"You Americans always like to think that you have the perfect government and your people are always so perfect. Well then, why haven't you had a woman president by now? You had a chance to vote for a woman vice-president and you didn't do it."
The general response went something along the lines that you don't vote for someone just because of their sex. Besides, you don't vote for vice-president, but the president and vice-president as a ticket.
"Well, I think you are going to be surprised when you get a black president very soon."
The consensus we expressed was that we didn't think there was anything innately barring that. The right person at the right time and sure, America would try to vote for the right person, be he or she black or not.
"What if I told you that you will have a black president very soon and he will be a Communist?"
The out-of-the-blue remark was met by our stares. She continued, "Well, you will; and he will be a Communist."
It was then that the husband unsuccessfully tried to change the subject; but she was on a roll and would have nothing of it. One of us asked, "It sounds like you know something we don't know."
"Yes, it is true. This is not some idle talk. He is already born and he is educated and being groomed to be president right now. You will be impressed to know that he has gone to the best schools of Presidents. He is what you call "Ivy League". You don't believe me, but he is real and I even know his name. His name is Barack. His mother is white and American and his father is black from Africa. That's right, a chocolate baby! And he's going to be your President."
She became more and more smug as she presented her stream of detailed knowledge and predictions so matter-of-factly - as though all were foregone conclusions. "It's all been thought out. His father is not an American black so he won't have that social slave stigma. He is intelligent and he is half white and has been raised from the cradle to be an atheist and a Communist. He's gone to the finest schools. He is being guided every step of the way and he will be irresistible to America."
We sat there not knowing what to say. She was obviously very happy that the Communists were doing this and that it would somehow be a thumbing of their collective noses at America: they would give us a black president and he'd be a Communist to boot. She made it quite obvious that she thought that this was going to breathe new life into world Communism. From this and other conversations with her, she always asserted that Communism was far from dead.
She was full of little details about him that she was eager to relate. I thought that maybe she was trying to show off that this truly was a real person and not just hot air.
She rattled off a complete litany. He was from Hawaii. He went to school in California. He lived in Chicago. He was soon to be elected to the legislature. "Have no doubt: he is one of us, a Soviet."
At one point, she related some sort of San Francisco connection, but I didn't understand what the point was and don't recall much about that. I was just left with the notion that she considered the city to be some sort of a center for their activity here.
Since I had dabbled in languages, I knew a smattering of Arabic. I made a comment: "If I remember correctly, 'Barack' comes from the Arabic word for 'Blessing.' That seems to be an odd name for an American." She replied quickly, "Yes. It is 'African'", she insisted, "and he will be a blessing for world Communism. We will regain our strength and become the number one power in the world."
She continued with something to the effect that America was at the same time the great hope and the great obstacle for Communism. America would have to be converted to Communism and Barack was going to pave the way.
So, what does this conversation from 1992 prove?
Well, it's definitely anecdotal. It doesn't prove that Obama has had Soviet Communist training nor that he was groomed to be the first black American president, but it does show one thing that I think is very important. It shows that Soviet Russian Communists knew of Barack from a very early date. It also shows that they truly believed among themselves that he was raised and groomed Communist to pave the way for their future. This report on Barack came personally to me from one of them long before America knew he existed.
Although I had never before heard of him, at the time of this conversation Obama was 30+ years old and was obviously tested enough that he was their anticipated rising star.

Background:
I have a degree in Physics and have worked primarily in aerospace and software development. In 1991 I became involved with an Englishman who was performing relief efforts into the collapsing Soviet Union. These efforts were performed through Orthodox churches in Britain and the US plus some churches in Germany.
Money was raised from all over and sent to Germany to purchase the goods, which were then trucked into Moscow to be distributed by the Patriarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church. While doing all of this, I met many talented people in the Russian Academy of Science and eventually formed a Joint-Venture with some to develop sophisticated software.
Dr. M. headed the Russian side. He had a wife whom people told me was a staunch Communist. It is my understanding that she was one of the party officials that worked in a company to be the contact point and keep a party eye on things. She was degreed in her own right and was a solid right hand to her husband.Why did she get so loose-tongued?
I am not sure, but there were traditional Russian toasts being delivered through the evening and each of those were punctuated by a shot of very cold vodka. Also, there were some remarks made by an American in our group concerning his observations of the racial make up of the Russian people.
This visibly irritated her, and I believe that was the emotional trigger for her to want to predict a racial comeuppance for the white America to which we were returning.Why didn't I publish the story upon my return in 1992? At that point it was talk. It was very disturbing talk, but I had a life that I was living and that kept me busy while I wasn't sure how I could every attempt to track down this mystery man she mentioned. In the end, he never left my mind really, but I didn't ruminate on it, either. I did mention this to my son upon my return and it was because of that that he is my most solid defender.
He remembers me warning him in 1992 to beware of a mulatto guy running for president with such and such laundry list of attributes.

I believe you, and I know that Barack is a Marxist. It fits the pattern for all of the stated communist goals as outlined in Cleon Skousens book The Naked Communist.
I'm grateful you shared this information and that it has a chance of getting out to the people through the web. I plan to write a blog post on it right now and would love to share some further details, if you have any. No question that the Marxist Clenching that takes place when they get in power is taking place all over the world. Cuba talking to their pals in Russia, A clamp down on Geert Wilder in the Netherlands, etc, etc...
We only have to watch this so called stimulus bill get set up to see how far they are willing to go to set up a peoples republic in America.

It's The COMMUNISM Stupid, (A Liberal Supermajority!)

In other words, the election would mark the restoration of the activist government that fell out of public favor in the 1970s. These past few days I have been doing quite a bit of research about Barack Obama.
I have spent most of my adult life studying political ideologies and reading books on political theory.
I guess what is so baffling to me is how easily the American People, especially women, allow themselves to be duped by somone that "sounds good".
One thing needs to be fully understood by anyone reading this post. Communism is NOT a political party. It is not a legitimate, "alternative" to the party system in America. Marxism is a revolutionary force that has at its roots the overthrow of all Free People through class envy, warfare, and violence. Socialism is the stepping stone to world communism.
The fact that all of Obamas closest friends, mentors, and family members are die hard marxists is troubling enough. But when I read an article last night from the International Tribune that claimed his Mother was also a dyed in the wool Marxist, I just about threw up.
When a child is gestated in the womb of a woman who has such confused thoughts about freedom and slavery, it creates this psychic wound in the Freedom Loving portion of the babes brain and causes absolute infiltration into every cell of his body towards Collectivist thought, acts, and deeds.
I tremble for my country when I think about this man being our President.
Restore America's Reputation in the world? Hardly. He will allign with every two bit Socialist and shove the US into the World Collective where the American Constitution and Individual Freedom and Liberty will be shoved out of the picture and We The People become cogs in the world government machine.
For you mothers out there, the world government types have one major goal for all of our families, and it basically boils down to sterilizing and murdering most of our children and grandchildren. Control who gets to have babies with licensing and our society, like China, will become a melting pot of forced abortions and sterlizations.
The other truly heinous side of Collectivism is how it nurtures neighbor hatred and envy. Jung Chang, in her Mao Biography outlined how Mao would encourage the worst in human nature with neighborhood denunciations and meetings. She said that China never developed a true police state because there was no need for a KGB style force to root out Capitalists and Rebels in her society. Mao simply kept the people watching over each other like so many social workers and tattling to the authorities when ANY elitist behavior was exhibited. When those denunciations led to individuals being imprisoned or murdered, the sheer terror that accompanied the thought control was all that was needed to keep the people quiet.
America is a nation ruled by Laws. Period. When those laws are tossed out of the window and the collective takes over...God help us all. Please take a few hours to truly educate yourself before you vote.

Mercer island High School was the subject of an investigation by the House Un-American Activities Subcommittee when it was learned that the Communist Party, USA had infiltrated the school and several faculty members were Marxists.
In 1955, the chairman of the Mercer Island school board, John Stenhouse, testified that he had been a member of the Communist Party.
Two of Dunham's teachers, Jim Wichterman and Val Foubert, were active Marxists who brainwashed many of the students before they were discovered.
Ann was an zealous atheist and she would debate atheism with anyone who wanted to challenge her views.
From high school on, Dunham was attracted only to African American males and, according to one of her high school friends, Susan Blake, she never dated white boys.

Rev. James Manning, Larry Sinclair, Jeff Rense discuss Barack Obamas Criminal Past and the MEDIA COVERUP that is ongoing around the death of Donald Young.
Does anyone for one minute think that if Sarah Palin or John McCain had a dead lesbian or gay lover in their past that it would have been ignored by the media for as long as Donald Youngs Death has been ignored as a story pertinent to this election?
Or is it OK to silence/kill a homosexual man in Chicago because his past relations with Barack Obama may prove problematic? I am so sick of the double standard the media has between republicans and democrats. Sure they can run a DUI story about President Bush a couple days before the election, but they cannot be bothered to go do some serious investigative journalism connecting the dots between Donald Young, Rev. British historian Paul Johnson wrote about Nietzsche and his indelible place in history: "The greatest event of recent times – that 'God is dead,' that the belief in the Christian God is no longer tenable – is beginning to cast its first shadows over Europe."
Nietzsche, admittedly, was a brilliant and influential philosopher, but because his ideas are rooted in atheism, humanism, Social Darwinism, eugenics and nihilism, the latter of which is an extreme view that there is no need for values and no justification for good, evil or morality, in the end he can only offer society perpetual war, genocide, utter despair and no future hope of eternal life with God, because Nietzsche declared, "God is dead."
America, we can do better than Nietzsche … can't we?"

In early December 1997, after 18 months of successful damage control by the White House, the black community in Chicago finally learned of the anomalies in the death of Ron Brown.
Bill Clinton's secretary of commerce, Brown had dreamed of becoming America's first black president from the time he was a little boy. And although he was, as Joe Biden might have put it, as "articulate and bright and clean" as Barack Obama, he never got the chance.
Brown died on April 3, 1996 – 12 years ago today – when the U.S. Air Force plane in which he and 34 others were flying crashed "inexplicably" into a Croatian mountainside near Dubrovnik.
As reported in the Chicago Independent Bulletin, a group of black pastors, led by the Rev. Hiram Crawford of the Israel Methodist Community Church on Chicago's south side, "blasted local black legislators for their apparent silence in this matter."
The Bulletin article does not specify whether the Rev. Jeremiah Wright was among the pastors or whether then Illinois state Sen. Obama was among the blasted.
Given the proximity of Crawford's south side church to Wright's church and Obama's Senate district, however, the pair had to have at least known about the protest.
As the Bulletin article reported accurately, Lt. Col. Steve Cogswell, a doctor and deputy medical examiner with the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, or AFIP, had gone public with his concerns.
"When you get something that appears to be a homicide, that should bring everything to a screeching halt," Cogswell was quoted as saying of Brown's death.
Cogswell was referring to the ".45-inch inwardly beveling circular hole in top of [Brown's] head," which he described as "essentially the description of a 45-caliber gunshot wound." Cogswell argued that at the very least the wound should have prompted an autopsy, but it did not.
So troubled were the Chicago pastors by what they saw as a "conspiracy to divert justice" that they called for the impeachment of President Clinton along with the opening of an investigation into Brown's death.
Had the pastors known about the likely sabotage of the Dubrovnik airport's aviation systems, the death by gunshot wound to the chest of the manager of those systems, the purloining of Brown's head X-rays, or the "lead snowstorm" visible in the photos of the same, they would have been more outraged still.
There was something else the pastors did not know: Brown was desperate after his son Michael had been targeted by an independent counsel.
Nor did they know that Brown had threatened to reveal the still-buried details of the China fundraising scandal when President Clinton refused to intervene on Michael's behalf.
After Cogswell's revelations, White House troubleshooters went into overdrive. They had the AFIP impose a gag order on Cogswell while military police escorted him to his house and seized all of his case materials on the Brown crash.
The following day, Howard Kurtz of the Washington Post did what the mainstream media routinely did during the Clinton years – attacked the president's critics.
"Cogswell never actually examined the body," Kurtz snickered about Cogswell, who had covered the Croatian end of the crash. Kurtz then added with preposterous certainty, "There definitely was no bullet because there was no exit wound."
If the Post or the White House thought the outbreak had been contained, they were in for a surprise. In a refreshingly noble gesture, Lt. Col. David Hause, a pathologist who had been present for the Brown examination, went public in support of Cogswell.
To Kurtz's claim that there was no exit wound, Hause and Cogswell both agreed a bullet could have traveled down the neck and lodged elsewhere in the body. They knew too that given White House pressure, there had been no time to search for an exit wound, let alone perform an autopsy.
The pressure from the black community continued to grow. On Dec. 18, the head of the NAACP, Kweisi Mfume, took the Brown case to the White House and demanded answers.
On Christmas Eve, veteran activist and former comedian Dick Gregory staged a protest and prayer vigil at the AFIP headquarters in Washington that culminated in the TV-friendly gesture of wrapping yellow crime scene tape around the area.
"We are not going to allow this to pass," Gregory vowed. "There is very strong evidence the AFIP found a gunshot wound on Brown's head and decided to cover up this evidence."
The mainstream media largely ignored Gregory, just as they had Mfume. But there was one black leader neither the media nor the White House could ignore.
That was Chicago's own Jesse Jackson, and he came forward on Jan. 5. With Jackson on board, reporters finally raised the Brown question at a White House press conference on that same day. They obviously struck a nerve.
"It's time to knock this stuff off," snapped press secretary Mike McCurry. "I'm not going to talk about this further or take any further questions on the subject."
But the questions would not go away. A week later, a third AFIP pathologist came forward, Air Force Maj. Thomas Parsons. He agreed the hole was "suspicious and unusual" and worthy of an autopsy.
The chief forensic photographer who had first discovered the hole, Kathleen Janoski, offered public confirmation and support as well.
With momentum still building in the black community, the Washington Afro-American ran a lengthy front-page story on Jan. 17, 1998.
At this moment in time, the story had enough substance and biracial support to breach the firewall the mainstream media had constructed around the White House and shake Washington to its foundation, but this was not to be.
On that very same Jan. 17, Bill Clinton was about to swear under oath that he had no idea who Monica Lewinsky was. True to form, Newsweek tried to suppress the Lewinsky story as the Washington Post had successfully done earlier.
The Internet, however, now made suppression all the more difficult. Matt Drudge ran with the story and forced the major media to follow. By Jan. 21, the Monica tale had inundated the land and left every other news story gasping for breath.
Jesse Jackson and other ambitious black politicians had a choice to make. They could either pick away at the administration on a story that had just lost its legs or exploit the president's Monica problem to their own best advantage.
Jackson chose to exploit. Dick Gregory continues his protest to this day. The three pathologists and the photographer had their careers destroyed, and it is unlikely that in his visit to Croatia this week President Bush will vindicate them.
As to Obama, he has kept his powder dry. Apparently, he feels no need to talk about Brown's death unless he has to.
And unless he does, there will never be an investigation.

My beloved brethren and sisters, humbly and gratefully I stand before you this morning and seek an interest in your faith and prayers that the message that I have may be accompanied by the Spirit. It is a wonderful sight that I view here this morning. It is good to be with you, my beloved young friends, distinguished members of the faculty, and special guests.
My wife and I have just returned from a glorious weekend at St. George, where I had the privilege of addressing three overflow audiences, two in the largest auditorium they have at Dixie College and made up largely of young people, and one on the fourth floor of the temple in a Solemn Assembly. We were honoring the centennial of the dedication of the St. George Temple, the first one to be erected in the western part of the country. We are still basking in the aftermath of another great general conference of the Church. Never in my memory have we had more explicit warnings from prophets of God; and nowhere in the world are there men better prepared or more obligated to issue such warnings.
The Celestial Kingdom
Today I want to discuss some principles and laws of the celestial kingdom, and some of the fallacies of their perverted counterfeits in the world. I share with you a vision of your eternal possibilities. The celestial kingdom, residence of God, our Eternal Father, is comprised of men and women who have complied with divine law and who were not deceived by the craftiness of men or the doctrines of devils. They are just men made perfect through the mediation and atonement of Jesus Christ (see D&C 76:69). They are obedient to celestial law; for, as the Lord has said, he who is not able to abide the law of a celestial kingdom cannot abide a celestial glory (D&C 88:22).
Celestial laws, embodied in certain ordinances belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ, are complied with by voluntary covenants. The laws are spiritual. Thus, our Father in Heaven has ordained certain holy sanctuaries, called temples, in which these laws may be fully explained, the laws include the law of obedience and sacrifice, the law of the gospel, the law of chastity, and the law of consecration.
I want to speak more particularly this morning about this one law--the law of consecration. It is that one's time, talents, strength, property, and money are given up to the Lord for the express purpose of building up the kingdom of God and establishing Zion on the earth. Or, as we read in Doctrine and Covenants 105:5, "Zion cannot be built up unless it is by the principles of the law of the celestial kingdom."
Much has been written about this law and its attempted implementations in the early history of the Church; and much deception has taken root, even among some of our members, because of misinformed opinion or misguided interpretations.
Some view it as merely an economic alternative to capitalism or the free enterprise system, others as an outgrowth of early communal experiments in America. Such a view is not only shortsighted but tends to diminish in importance a binding requirement for entrance into the celestial kingdom. The law of consecration is a celestial law, not an economic experiment.
The vehicle for implementing the law of consecration is the united order. The basic principle underlying the united order is that everything we have belongs to the Lord; and, therefore, the Lord may call upon us for any and all of our property, because it belongs to him. The united order was entered by "a covenant and a deed which cannot be broken" (D&C 42:30), according to the scriptures. In other words, an individual conveys his titles to all his property to the Church through the bishop. The property becomes the property of the Church. You read about this in the forty-second section of the Doctrine and Covenants.
The bishop then deeds back to the consecrator by legal instrument the amount of personal property required by the individual for the support of himself and his family, as the Lord declares, "according to his circumstances and his wants and needs" (D&C 51:3). This becomes the private, personal property of the individual to develop as he sees fit. It is his stewardship. When an individual produces a profit or surplus more than is needful for the support of himself and his family, the surplus is then placed in the bishops storehouse to administer to the poor and the needy. Under the united order, idleness has no place, and greed, selfishness, and covetousness are condemned. The united order may therefore operate with only a righteous people.
It has been erroneously concluded by some that the united order is both communal and communistic in theory and practice because the revelations speak of equality. Equality under the united order is not economic and social leveling as advocated by some today. Equality, as described by the Lord, is "equal[ity] according to [a man's] family, according to his circumstances and his wants and needs" (D&C 51:3).
Is the united order a communal system? Emphatically not. It never has been and never will be. It is "intensely individualistic." Does the united order eliminate private ownership of property? No. "The fundamental principle of this system [is] the private ownership of property" (J. Reuben Clark, Jr., Conference Report, October 1942, p. 57).
Two separate groups of saints have fully implemented this divine law. The first was the united order under Enoch, wherein the Lord designated this people Zion, "because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them." We read of this in the seventh chapter, eighteenth verse, of Moses, in the Pearl of Great Price.
A second instance was the Nephite civilization following the visit of the Savior to the Western Hemisphere after his resurrection. This is recorded in 4 Nephi, the third verse particularly. The failure of the early Saints in this dispensation to live according to the fulness of the law is explained by the Lord in revelations recorded in the Doctrine and Covenants, sections 101 and 105.
I repeat and emphasize that the law of consecration is a law for an inheritance in the celestial kingdom. God, the Eternal Father, his Son Jesus Christ, and all holy beings abide by this law. It is an eternal law. It is a revelation by God to his Church in this dispensation. Though not in full operation today, it will be mandatory for all Saints to live the law in its fulness to receive celestial inheritance. You young people today abide a portion of this higher law as you tithe, pay a generous fast offering, go on missions, and make other contributions of money, service, and time.
But whenever the God of heaven establishes by revelation his design, Satan always comes among men to pervert the doctrine, saying, "Believe it not." He often establishes a counterfeit system, designed to deceive the children of men. His aim, as it was before the foundation of this earth was laid, is to thwart the agency of man and to subjugate him. Throughout all ages of mankind, the adversary has used human agents and despotic governments to establish his purpose. Satan is determined to destroy all that is dear, all that will ennoble and exalt man to a celestial kingdom.
Isaiah foresaw the time when a marvelous work and a wonder would come forth among men (see Isaiah 29:14). Isaiah also predicted that there would be those that "seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they [shall] say, Who seeth us?" (Isaiah 29:15).
He saw the time when the work, man, shall say of him that made him, "He made me not," denying his creation (see Isaiah 29:16).
It is well to ask what self-proclaimed atheists came on the human scene following the restoration of the gospel, who established secret works of darkness to overthrow nations by violent revolution and who blasphemously proclaimed the atheistic doctrine that God made us not.
Yes, Satan works through human agents. We need only look to some of the ignoble figures in human history who were contemporary to the restoration of the gospel to discover fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy. I refer to the infamous founders of communism, Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Today, if we are alert, we can see further fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecies.
Communism--a System Antithetical to the Gospel of Christ
Through the instigation of Marx and Engels, a most successful counterfeit to the united order was introduced into the world. The declaration of principles found in their Manifesto to the World advocated the overthrow of capitalism and free enterprise, the abolition of private property, the elimination of the family as a social unit, the abolition of all classes, the overthrow of all governments, and the establishment of communal ownership of property in a classless, stateless society. All this was to be accomplished by revolution.
On July 3, 1936, the First Presidency published this warning to Church members. I quote it in part; I hope you will get a copy of the full statement for your files. In part, the statement reads:
. . . Communism is not a political party, nor a political plan under the Constitution; it is a system of government that is the opposite of our Constitutional government. . . .
Since Communism, established, would destroy our American Constitutional government, to support Communism is treasonable to our free institutions, and no patriotic American citizen may become either a Communist or supporter of Communism.
To our Church members we say, Communism is not the United Order, and bears only the most superficial resemblance thereto. Communism is based upon intolerance and force, the United Order upon love and freedom of conscience and action. . . .
Communists cannot establish the United Order, nor will Communism bring it about. . . .
Communism being thus hostile to loyal American citizenship and incompatible with true Church membership, of necessity no loyal American citizen and no faithful Church member can be a Communist.
We call upon all Church members completely to eschew [and shun] Communism. The safety of our divinely inspired Constitutional government and the welfare of our Church imperatively demand that Communism shall have no place in America.

The First Presidency
You students have only to read some of the speeches and writings of the exiled Russian Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn to appreciate this farsighted warning of the First Presidency.
I have been on both sides of the Iron Curtain several times. I have talked to these godless leaders face to face. I say to you with all the sincerity of my soul that since 1933 this godless counterfeit to the gospel has made tremendous progress towards its objective of world domination, for over one-third of the human family are now under totalitarian subjugation.
Today we are in a battle for the bodies and souls of men. It is a battle between two opposite systems: freedom and slavery, Christ and anti-Christ. The struggle today is more momentous than a decade ago, yet today the conventional wisdom, so called, is that we have got to learn to live with communism, to give up our ideas about national sovereignty. You hear that repeated today. Tell that to the millions--yes, the scores of millions--who have met death or imprisonment under the tyranny of communism. Learn to live with communism? Such would be the death knell of freedom and all we hold dear.
The gospel of Jesus Christ can prosper only in an atmosphere of freedom. As members of his Church, we have a major responsibility to do all in our power to see that freedom is preserved and safeguarded. I pray that God will bless you to see communism for what it really is: the greatest system of human slavery that the world has ever known. May you not be deceived into believing that the communists have moderated their goal toward world domination. I say to you that so-called detente is a fraud. Time will prove it to be such.
There is no excuse for any BYU instructor to grant a forum to an avowed communist for the purpose of teaching communism on this campus. It may be done on other campuses in the United States, but it will not be done here.
Socialism--a Philosophy Incompatible with Man's Liberty
Another notable counterfeit system to the Lord's plan is collectivized socialism. Socialism derives its philosophy from the founders of communism, Marx and Engels. Communism in practice is socialism. Its purpose is world socialism, which the communists seek to achieve by revolution, and which the socialists seek to achieve by evolution. Both communism and socialism have the same effect upon the individual--a loss of personal liberty. As was said so well by President J. Reuben Clark, Jr., "The two are as two peas in a pod in their ultimate effect upon our liberties."
Why is socialism incompatible with man's liberty? Socialism cannot work except through an all-powerful state. The state has to be supreme in everything. When individuals begin to exert their God-given rights, the state has to suppress that freedom. So belief in God must be suppressed, and with that gone freedom of conscience and religion must also go. Those are the first of our liberties mentioned in the Bill of Rights.
There are some among us who would confuse the united order with socialism. That is a serious misunderstanding. It is significant to me that the Prophet Joseph Smith, after attending lectures on socialism in his day, made this official entry in the Church history: "I said I did not believe the doctrine" (Joseph Smith, History of the Church 6:33).
Socialism Disguised under Welfare State Measures
As citizens of this noble land, we have marched a long way down the soul-destroying road of socialism. If you question that statement, consider the recent testimonial from the Nobel prize-winning economist, Milton Friedman. He indicated that government spending in the United States at all levels amounts to over forty percent of today's total national income.
If we continue to follow the trend in which we are heading today, two things will inevitably result: first, a loss of our personal freedom, and second, financial bankruptcy. This is the price we pay when we turn away from God and the principles which he has taught and turn to government to do everything for us. It is the formula by which nations become enslaved.
This nation was established by the God of heaven as a citadel of liberty. A constitution guaranteeing those liberties was designed under the superintending influence of heaven. I have recounted here before what took place in the St. George Temple when the Founding Fathers of this nation visited President Wilford Woodruff, who was then a member of the Twelve and not president of the Church. The republic which was established was the most nearly perfect system which could have been devised to lead men toward celestial principles. We may liken our system to the law of Moses which leads men to the higher law of Christ.
Today, two hundred years later, we must sadly observe that we have significantly departed from the principles established by the founders of our country. James Madison opposed the proposal to put Congress in the role of promoting the general welfare according to its whims in these words:
"If Congress can employ money indefinitely to the general welfare, they may take the care of religion into their own hands; they may appoint teachers in every state, county and parish and pay them out of their public treasure; they may take into their own hands the education of children, establishing in like manner schools throughout the Union; they may assume the provision of the poor. . . . Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for [and it was an issue then], it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited Government established by the people of America."

That statement, given as a warning, has proved prophetic. Today Congress is doing what Madison warned about. Many are now advocating that which has become a general practice since the early 1930s: a redistribution of wealth through the federal tax system. That, by definition, is socialism!
Americans have always been committed to taking care of the poor, aged, and unemployed. We have done this on the basis of Judaic-Christian beliefs and humanitarian principles. It has been fundamental to our way of life that charity must be voluntary if it is to be charity. Compulsory benevolence is not charity.
Today's socialists--who call themselves egalitarians--are using the federal government to redistribute wealth in our society, not as a matter of voluntary charity, but as a so-called matter of right. One HEW official said recently, "In this country, welfare is no longer charity, it is a right. More and more Americans feel that their government owes them something" (U.S. News and World Report, April 21, 1975, p. 49). President Grover Cleveland said--and we believe as a people--that though the people support the government the government should not support the people.
The chief weapon used by the federal government to achieve this "equality" is the system of transfer payments. This means that the federal governments collects from one income group and transfer payments to another by the tax system. These payments are made in the form of social security benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, and food stamps, to name a few. Today the cost of such programs has been going in the hole at the rate of 12 billion dollars a year; and, with increased benefits and greater numbers of recipients, even though the tax base has been increased we will have larger deficits in the future.
Today the party now in power is advocating and has support, apparently in both major parties, for a comprehensive national health insurance program--a euphemism for socialized medicine. Our major danger is that we are currently (and have been for forty years) transferring responsibility from the individual, local, and state governments to the federal government--precisely the same course that led to the economic collapse in Great Britain and New York City. We cannot long pursue the present trend without its bringing us to national insolvency.
Edmund Burke, the great British political philosopher, warned of the threat of economic equality. He said,
"A perfect equality will indeed be produced--that is to say, equal wretchedness, equal beggary, and on the part of the petitioners, a woeful, helpless, and desperate disappointment. Such is the event of all compulsory equalizations. They pull down what is above; they never raise what is below; and they depress high and low together beneath the level of what was originally the lowest."
Are we part of the problem or part of the solution?
Recently a letter came to my office, accompanied by an article from your Daily Universe, on the matter of BYU students taking food stamps. The query of the letter was: "What is the attitude of the Church on taking food stamps?" The Church's view on this is well known. We stand for independence, thrift, and abolition of the dole. This was emphasized in the Saturday morning welfare meeting of general conference. "The aim of the Church is to help the people to help themselves. Work is to be re-enthroned as the ruling principle of the lives of our Church membership"
(Heber J. Grant, Conference Report, October 1936, p. 3).
When you accept food stamps, you accept an unearned handout that other working people are paying for. You do not earn food stamps or welfare payments. Every individual who accepts an unearned government gratuity is just as morally culpable as the individual who takes a handout from taxpayers' money to pay his heat, electricity, or rent. There is no difference in principle between them.
You did not come to this University to become a welfare recipient. You came here to be a light to the world, a light to society--to save society and to help to save this nation, the Lord's base of operations in these latter days, to ameliorate man's social conditions. You are not here to be a parasite or freeloader. The price you pay for "something for nothing" may be more than you can afford. Do not rationalize your acceptance of government gratuities by saying, "I am a contributing taxpayer too." By doing this you contribute to the problem which is leading this nation to financial insolvency.
Society may rationalize immorality, but God cannot condone it. Society sponsors Sabbathbreaking, but the Church counsels otherwise. Society profanes the name of Deity, but Latter-day Saints cannot countenance it. Because society condones a dole, which demoralizes man and weakens his God-given initiative and character, can we?
I know what it is, as many of your faculty members do, to work my way through school, taking classes only during winter quarters. If you don't have the finances to complete your education, drop out a semester and go to work and save. You'll be a better man or woman for so doing. You will have preserved your self-respect and initiative. Wisdom comes with experience and struggle, not just with going through a university matriculation. I hope you will not be deceived by current philosophies which will rob you of your godly dignity, self-respect, and initiative, those attributes that make a celestial inheritance possible. It is in that interest, and that only, that I have spoken so plainly to you.
My Hope for You, the Youth of Zion
In opening my remarks to you, beloved youth of the Church, I attempted to share with you a vision of your eternal possibilities. In closing my remarks, I share with you my hope for you:
I hope that you learn through your struggles the joy of achievement.
I hope that you recognize in the gospel of Jesus Christ a solution to our problems, temporal and spiritual.
I hope that you marry well, live together in love, rear a family in righteousness, and have joy and rejoicing in your posterity.
I hope that you follow the example and counsel of him whom the Lord has appointed as prophet, seer, and revelator.
I hope that you learn the joy of work, the ability to postpone wants, and the economic independence not to be a slave to any man.
I hope that you keep yourselves clean morally and spiritually, that your confidence will wax strong in the presence of God, as the scriptures say, and the Holy Ghost will be your constant companion (see D&C 121:45–46).
I hope that you will be united in philosophy, purpose, and action to the laws of the celestial kingdom.
I pray God's choicest blessings on you, my beloved brethren and sisters. May I say to you that there isn't anything in this world that's right that the leadership of this Church wouldn't do for the youth of the Church; and so I hope and pray that you realize the hope of those who love you and serve you and the possibilities of your potential as sons and daughters of God.

The Daily Show spanks Code Pink
I was cracking up as I watched this report. Too Too funny.

Debbie Parish, Colorado Marine Mom kicks some moonbat hiney, questioning the military credentials of the dude she was yelling at. And Dale Lanham states the fact that all of the Winter Soldier Attrocities were fabricated during the Viet Nam War.

Hillary the Movie - A Blog post dedicated to the truth about Hillary Clinton
During the primary season 16 years ago, I was very much influenced by the writings of various conservative commentators about the political scene. I subscribed to the Conservative Chronicle listened to Rush Limbaugh almost daily, and once in a while checked a conservative magazine out of the library.
This article His Cheatin' Heart by a then conservative David Brock in the American Spectator Magazine was the final information I needed to know that a Clinton Presidency was going to be a very very bad thing for the country.
Hillary Clinton wants to take the United States back to Old European Socialism.
While I have serious problems with that fact, more troubling to me is the fact that she and her husband are known felons, pathological liars, and have no morals. Because Mr. and Mrs. Clinton believe that they are a law unto themselves, they feel no need to live by any laws or uphold the rule of law in our society. The thought of someone like her holding her hand on the bible and vowing to defend the constitution just makes me sick to my stomach. When you say that Hillary is all about the acquisition of power, then can we presume that that is what her marriage to Clinton is all about? Is that why she never really cared about all his affairs? The Clinton marriage was just a business deal. I believe that Hillary has had her eyes set on the White House ever since Bill first became Governor of Arkansas- back in 1978.
It is common knowledge that Hillary is bi-sexual. According to Bill's long-time ex-girlfriend Gennifer Flowers, Hillary enjoyed performing oral sex on other women.
On p.41 of Flowers' autobiography "Passion and Betrayal", Gennifer asked Bill if there was any truth to the rumor that Hillary was having an affair with another woman. Bill laughed and said (referring to Hillary): "Honey - she's probably eaten more p---y than I have."
What upset Hillary is not that Bill messed around. What upset her is that he got caught so many times."

Eight girls who were injected with that nasty cocktail of chemicals NEVER have to worry about getting that form of CANCER.

Anyone checked recently to see how much money Merck has made off the pelvic goldmine around this current vaccine scam? I'm too lazy to go look it up....but I think we can safely guess it is in the hundreds of millions.

Specifically Judicial Watch wanted access to correspondence between Merck and the FDA regarding the vaccine, communications between the FDA and GlaxoSmithKline, which is working on a similar vaccine, called Cervarix, and reports by consumers, health professionals and others regarding problems with the HPV vaccine.
When the organization's investigation into the HPV vaccine issue arose, and the first reports starting coming in, Fitton described it as "a catalog of horrors."
One earlier report, No. 275438-1, describes the reaction as coronary artery thrombosis, sudden cardiac death. "Given Gardasil vaccine dose #1 3/12/07. Collapsed and died on 3/26/07… Echocardiogram revealed very enlarged right ventricle, small left ventricle as well as large blood clots within both the right atrium & right ventricle."
Another report noted that the woman was vaccinated and "died of a blood clot 8 hours after getting the Gardasil vaccine."
Officials with the Abstinence Clearinghouse noted in a position paper that groups including the Texas Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Academy of Environmental Medicine have come out publicly against mandatory vaccination.
"The reasoning of these medical associations is clear. They are not opposed to medical progress, and certainly support all efforts to combat life-threatening diseases. The problem, as these organizations see it, lies in the fact that the drug only went through three and a half years of testing, leaving the medical community somewhat in the dark as to what serious adverse effects might result in the long term," the group said.
"Along with the potential of serious adverse effects is the question of efficacy. There is evidence that after approximately four years, the vaccine's potency significantly declines. The long-term value of the vaccine has yet to be determined; if it wears off within six years, will girls and women need to repeat the battery of injections they originally received?" the organization wondered.
Michigan was the first state to introduce a plan to require the vaccine to be given to young girls, but the proposal failed. Ohio also considered a failed plan in 2006.
Then in 2007, after Merck's aggressive lobbying campaign and contributions to Women in Government, lawmakers in at least 39 states and the District of Columbia worked on sponsoring such plans."

In 2002, Fox National News reported Douglas Kennedy exposed the link between
psychiatric drugs and school shootings.
In September 2005, following confirmation that Red Lake Indian Reservation
school shooter, Jeff Weise, was under the influence of the antidepressant
Prozac, the National Foundation of Women Legislators, together with American
Indian tribal leaders, called for a Congressional investigation into the
correlation between psychiatric drug use and school massacres. Congress has yet to investigate the role of psychiatric drugs relating to school shootings despite international drug regulators warning these drugs
can cause mania, psychosis, hallucinations, suicide and homicidal ideation.
At least eight of the recent school shooters were under the influence of such drugs, and according to media reports, investigators working on the Virginia Tech school shootings, Cho Seung-Hui may also have been taking
drugs for "depression."

Boulder High School Pledge of Allegiance Rally After Action Report
On thursday morning a group of seven Patriots gathered in front of the Boulder High School to recite the Pledge of Allegiance. (Dale Lanham of Colorado Gathering of Eagles took this picture)
A few days before, a small group of students had stormed out of class to recite an alternative Pledge that had Marxist overtones.

This video covers the whole rally. I took video of our group saying the Pledge and then interviewed everyone who attended to learn why they carved out a few minutes from their day to attend the rally. For the last few weeks, the "Liberal’s War on America" has gone badly.
MoveOn, the New York Times, and Senators who accused Gen. Petraeus of being a traitor and a liar have been exposed and repudiated;
The media’s attempted flim-flam to portray Iran’s Terrorist Dictator as a "Statesman," tripped on Columbia University’s red carpet;
The brave combat Marines whom Congressman Murtha and the press eagerly charged with "cold-blooded murders" in Iraq are being found innocent, acquitted one by one.
The "War" is not going well ... the "War On America," that is.
Those who claim they "Support the Troops" are finally being unmasked, shown for being the cowards they are. But, it won’t be long before they regroup, begin their own "Surge" in this decades-long "War On America." We won’t stand by quietly when they do; nor, should you.
My fellow POWs and I have long known the contempt the extreme Left has for our military. We felt the crush of rifle butts in our faces, beatings and unspeakable torture in the Hanoi Hilton Prison when we refused to kowtow to American traitors who traveled to these countries for propaganda "photo-ops" with our Communist jailors.
The so-called "anti-war movement," lead by the likes of Lt. John Kerry and his mentor, Sen. Ted Kennedy, also said they "supported the troops". What they didn’t say is whose "troops."
We knew the answer then, we were witnesses and victims. It’s the same today. They "support" America’s enemies, any Communist Regime, Dictator or Terrorists that vow to kill and maim American soldiers and innocent civilians.
American soldiers in Vietnam were falsely accused of being a "barbarian horde," "rapists," "murderers," "drug addicts" and "baby killers."
Today, their sons, daughters and grandchildren serving in uniform stand accused of being "terrorists," "Nazis," "cold-blooded murderers," people who wantonly conduct "air raids on villages" bombing and killing civilians.
Every one of those spurious accusations were spewed from the Halls of Congress, most often by the same men and women who voted to send America’s youth to war, only to denounce, vilify and abandon them later, when the opportunity for personal, political advantage presented itself.
When I and my fellow veterans — POWs, Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and Navy Swift Boat combat veterans alike — attempted to warn America about one of the most notorious turncoats from the Vietnam era, we were initially ignored by the mainstream media.
When the press and TV networks could no longer cover-up for John Kerry’s very public treasonous conduct, we were accused of being "serial liars," shouted down by Leftist political campaign operatives disguised as "journalists." All the while the networks kept the film evidence of Lt. Kerry’s betrayal under lock and key, where it remains hidden from the American public even today.
The recent treatment accorded Gen. Petraeus by the same radicals in Congress and the media was strikingly similar to our experiences in 2004. Before he uttered a single word, this highly decorated combat veteran, a man of great honor who has risked his life many times in the defense of our country, stood accused, disparaged and berated by a pack of power-hungry shirkers and slackers unworthy to polish his combat medals.
Veterans who attempted to expose Sen. Kerry in 2004 were treated no better. But, Kerry and his band of Leftist comrades had something special in store for me and my fellow POWs and their wives. We were sued repeatedly for three long years, forced to spend $1 million just to defend ourselves in several frivolous lawsuits.
What did we do to cause such a prolonged, vindictive assault? We told the truth no Mainstream Media news operation wanted the American public to know, then or now.
Dozens of my fellow POWs and their wives participated in a documentary, "Stolen Honor: Wounds that Never Heal." In that film we said Kerry and his anti-war followers were liars and frauds working on behalf of our brutal Communists captors. Their collaboration with the enemy prolonged our captivity and the Vietnam War itself by years. Their vicious lies accusing us and all U.S. servicemen of being "war criminals" put our lives and the lives of Americans still fighting on the battlefield in grave danger.
Worse of all, Kerry’s self-aggrandizing, false accusations against American soldiers who had born the brunt of the bleeding and dying in Vietnam, spawned the myths our young men and women in Iraq today are forced to defend against, even as they fight for their lives on the battlefield each and every day.
You can draw a straight line from the deceitful Leftist tactics used to bring America’s defeat and dishonor in Vietnam to Iraq today.
America’s military didn’t lose the Vietnam War. Congress declared defeat, voted to abandon South Vietnam nearly two years after our last combat troops left. That sell-out, not only of our South Vietnam ally, but the nearly 60,000 Americans who gave their lives on the battlefield, ignited a genocidal holocaust throughout Southeast Asia that can still only be measured in the millions, an estimated three to five million innocent civilians brutally murdered.
We cannot let that happen again. We will not let that happen. You can stand shoulder to shoulder with us to prevent that from happening.
Three years ago, I and my fellow POWs and Vietnam combat veterans created a non-profit organization, "The Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation". Our mission was simple, to set the record straight about the Vietnam War and those who served and fought there. Little did we know then we’d be slapped with multiple lawsuits for daring to uncover the layer upon layer of lies that constitute the false Vietnam History.
Nor, could we know then the Left’s plans to use the same Vietnam blueprint for defeat in Iraq. Little wonder Kerry and his followers wanted to sue us into silence! But, we prevailed. We successfully defended against each of those lawsuits, all have now been withdrawn. And, we will not remain silent any longer.
Our research into the Vietnam War, most especially, those individuals and organizations responsible for creating the completely false history of Vietnam, is voluminous, factual and compelling. We have amassed a virtual library of records, documents and eyewitness testimony that proves, conclusively, the popular history of Vietnam is pure bunk, propaganda.
But, to show that, to prove that and to reach the widest public audience with our findings, we need your help. Three years of litigation and research has put us deeply in debt, $250,000 in legal fees alone. We do not have MoveOn.Org’s deep pockets, nor will we get a discount from The New York Times.
Anything you can afford to help us complete our mission, to set the record straight about Vietnam and, now, Iraq, is desperately needed and greatly appreciated. But, time is running short.
Once we get the truth out to the American people, there will be winners. Those winners will be every man and woman who has served in our Armed Forces. To them and their families, this is a war we cannot lose.
The "War On America" is just heating up again. What we do now will dictate America’s future, whether it is one of victory over terrorism, or, decades more of defeat, humiliation in a lost, but noble cause.

Our friends who live in post communist countries look at our Socialized Education establishment with horror and figure America has lost its soul. When we as a people allow marxists to spoonfeed cradle to grave socialism to our young people from preschool age up, something is very off in the hinter lands.
I pray America will not allow itself to become any more socialized than it already is. The entitlement generation is getting old and those of us coming along need to push hard for privatizing everything in our society before it all just melts into the great void of communist nothings.

"From Columbine to Virginia Tech, every time another headline-making mass murderer is discovered to have taken antidepressants or other psychiatric drugs, rumors and speculation abound regarding the possible connection between the medications and the violence.
Now, reports the July 2007 edition of WND's elite monthly Whistleblower magazine, the time for speculation and guessing is over. The evidence is overwhelming and irrefutable, says Whistleblower's groundbreaking investigative report: Mood-altering psychiatric drugs – taken every day by tens of millions of Americans, including millions of children – actually can push some users over the edge into mania, suicide and horrific violence.
The issue is titled "MANIA: The shocking truth about psychiatric drugs and their link to suicide, violence and mass murder."
To begin with, many of the most notorious mass killers in recent memory have been on, or just coming off, prescription mood-altering drugs. Remember these headline names?
Andrea Yates, in one of the most heartbreaking crimes in modern history, drowned all five of her children – aged 7 years down to 6 months – in a bathtub. Insisting inner voices commanded her to kill her kids, she had become increasingly psychotic over the course of several years.
Yates had been taking the antidepressant Effexor. In November 2005, more than four years after Yates drowned her children, Effexor manufacturer Wyeth Pharmaceuticals quietly added "homicidal ideation" to the drug's list of "rare adverse events." But "rare" is defined by the FDA as occurring in less than one in 1,000 people. And since, according to an Associated Press report, about 19.2 million prescriptions for Effexor were filled in the U.S. alone in 2005, that means statistically almost 20,000 Americans could experience "homicidal ideation" – that is, murderous thoughts – as a result of taking just this one antidepressant drug.
Columbine mass-killer Eric Harris was taking the widely prescribed antidepressant Luvox when he and fellow student Dylan Klebold went on a hellish school shooting rampage in 1999, killing 12 students and a teacher and wounding 24 others before turning their guns on themselves.
Luvox manufacturer Solvay Pharmaceuticals concedes that 4 percent of children and youth taking Luvox developed "mania" – a serious mental derangement characterized by extreme excitement and delusion – during short-term controlled clinical trials.
Authorities investigating Cho Seung-Hui, who murdered 32 at Virginia Tech in April, reportedly found "prescription drugs" for the treatment of psychological problems among his possessions. Joseph Aust, Cho's roommate, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch Cho's routine each morning had included taking prescription drugs.
So what kind of meds had Cho been taking? Strangely, his medical records have yet to be released to the public – authorities claiming it's because an investigation is still ongoing, although critics suggest the purpose may be to protect the drug companies from liability claims.
Meanwhile, the list of killers who happened to be taking psychiatric medications is long and chilling. Remember these headline names?
Patrick Purdy's 1989 schoolyard shooting rampage in Stockton, Calif., was the catalyst for the legislative frenzy to ban "semiautomatic assault weapons" in California and the nation. The 25-year-old Purdy, who murdered five children and wounded 30, had been on Amitriptyline, an antidepressant, as well as the antipsychotic drug Thorazine.
Kip Kinkel, 15, murdered his parents in 1998 and the next day went to his school, Thurston High in Springfield, Ore., and opened fire on his classmates, killing two and wounding 22 others. He had been prescribed both Prozac and Ritalin.
In 1988, 31-year-old Laurie Dann went on a shooting rampage in a second-grade classroom in Winnetka, Ill., killing one child and wounding six. She had been taking the antidepressant Anafranil as well as Lithium, long used to treat mania.
All very interesting, you may be thinking, but what do the drug companies say in their defense?
One of the most widely prescribed antidepressants today is Paxil, manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline.
Paxil's known "adverse drug reactions" – according to the drug's own 2001 FDA-approved label – include "mania," "insomnia," "anxiety," "agitation," "confusion," "amnesia," "depression," "paranoid reaction," "psychosis," "hostility," "delirium," "hallucinations," "abnormal thinking," "depersonalization" and "lack of emotion," among others.
With a rap sheet like that, no wonder pharmaceutical companies are nervous about liability lawsuits over the "rare adverse effects" of their medications. In 1998, for example, GlaxoSmithKline was ordered to pay $6.4 million to Donald Schnell's surviving family members after the 60-year-old man, just two days after taking Paxil, murdered his wife, daughter and granddaughter in a fit of rage.
But reporting the truth about the relationship between psychiatric medications and mass murderers is just the beginning. "MANIA" also reveals clear and compelling evidence that psychiatric drugs hurt children physically – causing shrinkage of their brains, damage to their hearts and other significant effects.
Perhaps even more disconcerting, "MANIA" exposes the federal government's bizarre preoccupation with screening all American school kids to see if they're mentally ill – a process that often leads directly to a prescription for mood-altering drugs for the child who didn't answer the questions properly.
"The problem," said David Kupelian, managing editor of WND and Whistleblower, "is that many Americans don't exactly trust the federal government to determine what constitutes 'mental health.'" Incredibly, as this issue reveals, there is even a government effort to proclaim an infant-and-toddler mental health crisis!

I'm wondering when the MSM is going to have the guts to take on this huge story.... As always one of the best ways to fight those who would seek power over our lives is to educate yourself towards medical self sufficiency and give birth at home alone, and then keep your kids away from doctors and fight every day to make a good marriage and family life for your loved ones.

I love the look of Michelles New site, and the fact that she is accepting comments once again. I wish I were as brave as she was - but comments and trackbacks have been turned off almost the whole time I have been blogging because of porn spam and incessant gambling and big pharma tracks.

"Vang Pao led a U.S.-backed army that fought communist forces from the early 1960s until mid-1970s. During the June 18 protest, former U.S. Army sniper Dave Downs said that thousands of American soldiers owed their lives to the Hmong forces. Those forces, Downs said, prevented North Vietnamese troops from using Laos as easy access to the south.
Those arrested in the plot, dubbed "Operation Popcorn," from "Political Opposition Party's Coup Operation to Rescue the Nation," included Harrison Jack, 60, a former Army Ranger in Vietnam and a retired colonel in the California National Guard.
The younger Hmong at the event told reporters of a YouTube documentary showing soldiers of the Communist regime hunting down the Hmong in Laos. They weren't making up the atrocities. In recent report on Laos, Amnesty International strongly condemns the massacre of ethnic Hmong people by Lao government troops in northern Vientiane province. One attack, which took place some 20 kilometers northeast of the tourist town of Vang Vieng on 6 April 2006, claimed the lives of at least 26 people, mostly women and children. According to AI, Lao government troops attacked the while their unarmed victims were foraging for food in the jungle.
The plot Vang Pao is charged with leading sought to take down Laos' Communist regime with former Green Berets, former Rangers and other special-forces fighters, at a cost of $28 million, according to news reports. They are charged with seeking to buy AK-47 rifles, anti-tank munitions, surface-to-air missiles, and explosives, whose vendors turned out to be ATF agents. The charges include violation of the federal Neutrality Act by conspiring to topple a foreign government which has peaceful relations with the United States.
The 11 arrested face penalties up to life in prison. They were not seeking to get the United States to take down Laos, but that is how judge Edmund F. Brennan saw it.
"It's not up to private groups to decide which countries the United States should be at war with and at peace with," Brennan said.
News reports of the protests mentioned the Amnesty International charges that the Laotian government has promoted "violence and persecution… against individuals and groups of ethnic Hmong perceived by the armed forces as having links to the rebels. Nothing like that appeared in editorials, no inkling that there was any legitimate cause at issue for those arrested or those protesting. Protests are common in the California capital and The Sacramento Bee, the monopoly daily, which has provided sympathetic coverage when the demonstrators were undocumented Mexicans chanting aqui estamos y no nos vamos – "we are here and we're not leaving," not only shrugged at the Asian demonstrators, but put its star colunnist, Marcos Breton, on the attack.
General Vang Pao, he wrote, "was trained and supported by the CIA and that's saying a mouthful, isn't it? Without rendering legal verdicts, it's safe to say the CIA didn't train its jungle-fighting point guys to solve conflicts through meditation." Breton writes from the politically correct lexicon in which the CIA is a three-letter code for evil, an incantation, and any contact with that agency amounts to a lifetime taint. But Breton was just getting warmed up. He dutifully rattled off "Laos, Vietnam, Iran, Iraq, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, Panama – how many former 'strong men' once financed by U.S. dollars have ended up dead or incarcerated in our jails?"
That the Hmong could be facing extermination at the hands of Marxist-Leninist strong-men had escaped his view. For Breton, who also complained about not being able to understand the protesters' language, "it was almost comical." Further, would "young Americanized Hmong really follow Vang to jungles far removed from their iPods? No way."
The whole thing, wrote Breton, was "so very Vietnam-era," and "like the Vietnam War, the Vang case is fundamentally senseless." It's all "flawed policies based on flawed premises."
Breton was right in a way. Conflicts have consequences, and they don't go away if one side packs up and leaves. They amount to a kind of condemnation for those left behind.
Those who allied themselves with the United States to fight communist totalitarianism have good reason to feel betrayed. They find themselves not only abandoned but prevented from taking up the fight themselves. They get no sympathy as an international brigade fighting a loathsome dictatorial regime. Those who support them in peaceful demonstrations get smeared as jabbering foreigners dedicated only to their iPods."
I suppose it is lost on the judge prosecuting the eleven people who were planning to go fight in Viet Nam, but locking them up for life sends the WRONG message to the Marxist slime who are currently running Viet Nam. My prayers are with the people of that tortured nation. May freedom some sooner than later to those who have suffered for so long under the long arm of Communist Tyranny.

A Prophet Seer and Revelator Speaks on Politics
During the fifty five years that have passed since this talk was given, the level of propaganda and lies told about America has exponentially grown to the point where our citizens, if they are not rabid anti-americans, they are definitely on the fence about whether or not to feel good about our nation and our Godly heritage.
I know for me, the final bit of ambivalence I had about our history, especially our history around the Viet Nam war, was completely wiped away when I read this interview found at Front Page Magazine. I remember that as I read it for the first time a couple years ago, I was hitting the monitor of my computer, and when I finished it, I rammed my hand down on the computer desk, because I was so floored by what Mr. Pacepa had said.
Here is the interview, followed by Ezra Taft Bensons talk given at General Conference 55 years ago.

"Beloved brethren and sisters, in humility I invoke the inspiration of the Lord and seek an interest in your faith and prayers as I stand for a few moments in this pulpit. I should like, if the Lord will bless me, to give vent to some thoughts that have been deeply impressed upon my mind for several weeks now. I hope I shall not be misunderstood. It seems to me that the day in which we live demands a frank and forthright consideration of some of the problems which face us not only as a Church but also as a great Christian nation.
With you I thrilled at the opening address of our great leader, President McKay. As I have thought of his remarks regarding this land of America, its achievements, and its needs, I have felt that I could characterize best what he said in two words: Spiritual Statesmanship. With you I love this land in which we live. I am proud of our heritage; I am grateful for the American tradition; I am thankful that the Lord has given through his prophets information regarding this great nation.
However, it seems to me that there are certain tendencies, trends, and practices which endanger very greatly our way of life and strike at the very foundation of much that we hold dear as a great Christian nation. Of course, the conditions of the world generally give us cause for concern. We seem to live in a world of conflict, insecurity, uncertainty, and almost bewilderment. We appear to be groping blindly, aimlessly, unable to find the way. Were it not for our faith in the prophecies of God I fear sometimes we would almost be tempted to give up.
We are in the midst of continuing international crises. The outlook for world peace and security is dark indeed. The gravity of the world situation, it appears, is increasing almost daily. The United Nations seems unable to settle the troubles of the world. In truth we are faced with the hard fact that the United Nations, it seems, has largely failed in its purpose. Yes, the days ahead are sobering and challenging ones. We might well ask,
America-what of the future?
I never travel across this great land and note its broad, fruitful farms, its humming factories and gleaming cities but what I am impressed with the marvels of this great nation. Yes, we have made unequaled material progress. We have become the greatest and the richest nation in all the world.
This has been done on about 6% of the land area of the world by a relatively small group of people, only 7% of the world's population. Yet it is reported that this small group of people produce today approximately half of the world's total wealth in usable form to satisfy human needs.
It is reported that in the year 1950 almost half of the food and fiber of the world was produced here in the United States. Our productivity has increased one-fifth every ten years since 1850. Through the use of machines much of the drudgery and toil so common in many other nations has disappeared.
Our engineers have estimated that the average worker today has the equivalent of 99 mechanical slaves working for him. The Twentieth Century Fud recently predicted that by 1960, 96% of all the energy going into physical work in America would be performed by machines, 1% by horses, and 3% by men. The average American worker has an output per hour six times his output in 1850. Yes, we have made unprecedented achievements in material things.
The prophets of God foreshadowed these achievements when they predicted that this would be a land choice above all other lands and that it would be preserved for a righteous people. Those who were to dwell here, if they served the God of the land, should be free from bondage and captivity.
Lehi, who led the second colony which came to this great land, was told that he was leading that colony to a land of promise and that none should come here save those who would come here under the influence of heaven.
This land would be consecrated unto those whom the Lord would guide here. It would be a land of liberty. Lehi's son, Jacob, said there should be no kings upon this land, that the God of heaven would be their king that this land would be fortified against all other nations, and that he who would fight against Zion should perish.
Reference has been made by President Young to the coming of Columbus. The scriptures tell us that the Spirit wrought upon Columbus, and upon those who followed him, and that they came here under the inspiration of heaven. Nephi predicted that when they arrived, they would humble themselves before God, that the power of the Lord would be with them, and that they would prosper.
Our history clearly records that the early peoples who did come were humble, God- fearing men and women. Bradford records that their first act upon arriving here upon American soil was to go upon their knees in humble prayer and bless the God of heaven.
The impelling force in their hearts it seems to me, was a love for basic ideals and principles, which were dearer to them than life itself. Among these were their love of God, faith in his divine purposes, their love of freedom industry, thrift, decency, and honor. Yes, this nation had its beginning in a high-minded manner.
The rules of conduct established by the early colonists and our founding fathers were taken from the scriptures. They were embodied in the Decalogue and in the gospel. The Sabbath was set aside as a sacred day. Profanity and other vices were condemned, and gambling was forbidden. People were encouraged to keep good company and to repeat no grievances. They emphasized the spiritual virtues.
Washington but echoed the general feeling of the early colonists when he acknowledged God's direction and emphasized the importance of spirituality honor, and moral courage. He said:
No people can be found to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States. Every step by which they have advanced to the character of an independent nation seems to have been distinguished by some token of providential agency.
Then as to the place of religion and morality, the Father of our country stated:
Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports . . . Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.
His successors spoke in similar vein. Lincoln emphasized the same thought when he acknowledged that "God rules this world," and that "It is the duty of nations as well as men to own their dependence upon the overruling power of God, to confess their sins and transgressions in humble sorrow...., " and then quoting from the scriptures, "and to recognize the sublime truth that those nations only are blessed whose God is the Lord." Yes, my brethren and sisters, they spoke of self-evident truths-inalienable rights.
When the Prophet Joseph came upon the scene to open a new gospel dispensation, he shed even further light upon the establishment of this great nation and the coming forth of the Constitution, which he stated was a glorious standard, founded in the wisdom of God.
Through revelation the Lord said to him, as was quoted by Brother Moyle yesterday,
Therefore, it is not right that any man should be in bondage one to another.
And for this purpose have I established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom I raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood. (D. & C. 101:79-80.)
We have enjoyed divine favor through much of our history, but what of the future? It seems to me, my brethren and sisters, that the lessons of history, many of them very sobering, ought to be turned to during this hour of our great achievement because I feel in my own heart that during the hour of our success is our greatest danger.
I feel firmly that even during the hour of great prosperity, a nation may sow the seeds of its own destruction. This may happen even during a period of great income, relatively full employment, and high business activity. History reveals that rarely is a great civilization conquered from without until it has weakened or destroyed itself within.
I read recently volume three of that monumental work by Will Durant, The Story of Civilization. This volume entitled Caesar and Christ, covers the rise and fall of the Roman Empire and the coming forth of Christianity. It covers a period of 1125 years, from 800 B.C. to 325 A.D. At the end of this six-hundred-page volume, the author writes an epilogue under the caption "Why Rome Fell."
It is generally agreed that not infrequently history repeats itself. The author lists the major causes why this great civilization fell apart. I wonder if there is anything in what he says for us to take note of today. As a read this volume I was caused to reflect on the similarity of conditions and practices then and now. May I give you briefly his summary:
The first group of causes he termed biological, and no doubt most fundamental. They had to do with the limitation of families, the deferment and avoidance of marriage, the refusal of men and women to shoulder the great responsibilities, God-ordained, of honorable parenthood.
He mentioned that sexual excesses were indulged in commonly, both in and outside the marriage covenant.
The operation of contraception and abortion was common. This, together with other things, resulted in reduced fertility. Sex ran riot, and moral decay resulted.
He mentioned as another cause of Rome's decay, the waste of natural resources in mining, deforestation, erosion, the neglect of irrigation canals but most important of all, the negligence of harassed and discouraged men the failure to teach high moral principles so necessary for the building of real character.
Then he lists with great emphasis the rising costs of government because of armies, doles, public works, expanding bureaucracy, a parasitic court, depreciation of currency, absorption of investment capital by confiscatory taxation.
Is there anything suggestive in this summary?
May I give you the following figures on this last grouping particularly, taken from what seem to be reliable sources? According to projected estimates, our federal government will spend during the coming fiscal years, 1952-53, more than the total income of all the people west of the Mississippi River-22 states. The federal payroll in 1952 will top 22 billion-4 billion above last year and 16 times the 1929 total.
Nearly one out of every four adult Americans is receiving regularly federal checks. At the present rate, by 1953 the government will be spending approximately 38% of the national income. During only three of the last twenty years has our federal budget been balanced. It requires today approximately 2 1/2 million civilians to staff the federal bureaucracy.
In the matter of the depreciation of the currency, it is reported that the present dollar is worth only 38 cents compared to the 1913 dollar, and that the dollar today will purchase only about half as much as it did in 1935-39.
As to taxation, the federal government took in taxes during all past administrations up to six years ago-156 years-248 billion dollars.
In the last six years we have taken in taxes 260 billion, and still we seem not to have enough to pay our current bills. With a debt of over one- quarter of a trillion dollars the annual interest payment is 6 billion dollars plus, more than all government expenditures in 1933.
Now, my brethren and sisters this author lists other causes. Political causes, he says, were rooted in one fact that through centralized control and the increasing despotism of the state, the citizens' civic sense was destroyed and dried up, thus destroying statesmanship at its source.
Men felt powerless to express themselves and lost interest in government. Yet, I presume, Rome has had no equal in the art of government. She achieved a democracy of free men and then destroyed it with corruption and violence.
With you, I love this great land in which we live.
I pray for the chief executive and his cabinet and the legislative and judicial branches, the officials of our states and our cities. But I wonder sometimes, my brethren and sisters, what our founding fathers, our pioneer fathers, would do and say if they were here today.
I'm sure they would give serious reflection to present conditions. I wonder if they would not recognize that our liberties have already been abridged, that there has been too much of a tendency for us to call upon our federal government every time we felt the need for the accomplishment of any particular objective.
I wonder if we haven't had a tendency to call for help for those things which our forefathers would have done willingly for themselves.
Yes, I presume as a people we are to blame, but I feel that if they were here today, they would apply some very definite tests before any new service or new program were approved. May I just mention three:
First, I think they would ask the question: Can this service, assuming it is needed, be done more efficiently, more effectively by our federal government or should we do it ourselves on the local level? They believed that government is best which governs least.
Government seems to be inherently wasteful and inefficient. Possibly it is because the profit motive and competition-the very life of private enterprise-are largely absent.
Second, How will it affect the morale and the character of the people? This seems to me to be of great importance. They were interested in the building of character. They recognized that character, not wealth or power or position, is of prime consideration.
Third, they would possibly ask: How will it affect our free institutions-the church, the school, the home, and our local form of government?
I believe if they were here, they would look for the answers to the decline of public morals.
As they looked searchingly for the answers, they would probably observe evidence of weak and vacillating leadership in many places, not confined to one group or one party.
They would find a tendency for men in high places to place political expediency ahead of principle. They would be concerned with the alarming growth of a something-for-nothing philosophy, a failure of people to stand on their own feet.
They would probably find bad examples by unscrupulous politicians and by delinquent parents, and possibly a weakening of religious training, and the substitution therefore of a faith-destroying materialism.
I think, my brethren and sisters, as Latter-day Saints, and as American citizens, we need to rouse ourselves to the problems that confront us as a great Christian nation. We need to recognize that these fundamental, basic principles, moral and spiritual, lay at the very foundation of our achievements in the past.
If we are to continue to enjoy our present blessings, we must have a return to these basic and fundamental principles.
Economics and morals are both parts of one inseparable body of truth, and they must be in harmony.
We need to square our actions and our policies with these eternal principles.
I wonder if we have forgotten the counsel of the prophets, the founding fathers, and our great statesmen. Surely we need a nationwide return to these fundamentals. We need a nationwide repentance to rid this land of corruption. We must return to the fundamental virtues that have made this nation great.
There is a force in the universe which no mortal can alter. This nation does have a spiritual foundation. It has been established in keeping with great spiritual and moral principles, but there seems to be a tendency for us to lose our sense of uprightness and to do wilfully those things which we must know to be wrong. This cannot be done with impunity.
God help us to raise our sights beyond the dollar sign, beyond material things. May we have the courage to stand up and be counted, to stand for principle, for those principles and ideals which guided the founding fathers in the establishment of this great land. Thank God for the promises that have been made regarding the future of America.
I hope and pray we shall realize the fulfillment of these promises because we merit their fulfillment.
I am grateful that the Lord has said through his prophets that this nation unto the righteous shall be blessed forever, and that he will be a light unto them forever that hear his words."

Michelle Malkin: threats in the Blogosphere
Michelle Has a message for the technoblogging elites: Go Here (Strong Language alert)
These past ten months I have had to seriously think about this topic of threats and being harmed by what I say. I have also had to question how much of our life I put on this blog, and how much of my time will be devoted to blogging endeavors.
I decided long ago that I would not take counsel from my fears, in any sphere of my life. And have attempted to walk the talk each day fearless of what life might send my way in terms of being attacked for my lifestyle, political views, and activism.
Malkin has some good insights, and I completely agree with her that we have to be fearless.
She Said:
"My response to this and other endless slurs and threats--most empty, some serious--has been two-fold:
1) Report the serious threats to law enforcement.
2) Keep blogging.
As I have said before: "There is a time to be tolerant and there is a time to draw lines. If you don't draw those lines, bullies will be emboldened."
That is my unsolicited advice to those now cowering in the face of anonymous commenters and assorted nutballs who will never go away.
Keep blogging. Don't cut and run."
I agree with her in theory, but after you have been attacked, sometimes it is important to just take a break, simply because you are ill and need to physically heal, and also need some space to recharge your freedom loving batteries. It might also be important to take stock of your life and decide if this is the cause that you are willing to put it all on the line for. Knowing deep in your heart that at any time and in any place you could be murdered or maimed for your political views.
Last week before the Gathering of Eagles event, I had some nightmares. My subconcious was dealing with my fears in a very real way during my dreams, and I felt some panic and fear. I also wondered if this was going to be a solo demonstration, and if I would be physically attacked by those on the other side. I figured even if I was hit I would probably live and would only die if I was shot by someone up on the hill. No Fear, No Fear....
On the thursday before the rally my visiting teachers came to visit, and I shared with them some of what I was planning to do with the Gathering of Eagles, and mentioned that I was having nightmares etc and then asked if they would pray for me. I joked that I was not afraid of getting hurt, just as long as I did not get shot. Ben was playing with the two little daughters of my friend and I did not realize that he was listening to our conversation. When I walked in the door after the anti war rally the first thing he said to me in a tone of excited exclamation was "You did not get shot!". I wondered then how much my little guy had worried for his mom.
When Dale Lanham and I walked in the door after the bake sale, Paul jokingly said "you didn't get shot! or arrested!!" He was only half joking. He had been really concerned that if we got too in your face with the Daily Camera people, they might call the police.
Here is a picture of me shortly after some toxic chemical was thrown in my face. I have struggled with my health for months since this attack. I reported it to the police, but they did not believe my story, and could not comprehend why someone would want to kill a blogging mother. I have released myself from the need to get justice around this attack, but it did change my life and my outlook on Freedom.
When one is attacked for political reasons, it can be truly devastating. You may feel guilt for putting your children in an unsafe situation, and you might feel damaged emotionally, because the bottom line is that it just feels terrible to be hurt for your beliefs.
That being said, after the attack, a freedom of expression and life comes into ones heart. At least for me, life after attack has felt liberating. I have absolutely no fear of death. I walked to deaths door, knocked on it, I think Jesus even opened the door, told me it was not my time, and I walked back into life completely changed. I also had a near death experience after the birth of my fourth child, and while similar elements were involved in terms of a change in perspective, life after the attack was the most liberating for me as a blogger.
It recharged my liberty loving batteries. It filled me with a purpose and a focus that has never waned. I feel absolutely fearless. I should qualify that by saying that in my concious moments I feel fearless, in my subconcious some fear has shown up in my dreams, as my mind has tried to reconcile things.
Life after attack has motivated me to make some changes in our day to day life. I bought the puppy I had been promising my children. I enjoy sunsets, sunrises, and flowers much more, and if I feel like dancing or singing, I do it.
I cut people out of my life who were making me ill just being in contact with them, and I invited others into my life who brought joy to my heart.
I joined a choir and I am enjoying performance again.
I have absolute faith and confidence that if my life is in the balance again, because of another attack, that Heavenly Father will preserve my life and protect me from evil. And I trust that if it is my time to die, that I will be welcomed home safely into the arms of my Savior.
It sounds like the blogger Michelle wrote about has decided that she cannot live with those fears of being attacked. I wish I had the ability to communicate to her that when you are attacked for your heart felt views, it can be the life changing, empowerment moment that gives you the courage to live one more day, year, lifetime, to its fullest.
I know my words sometimes convey this grandiose, majestic, over the top view of life, politics, freedom, and slavery. But it is difficult for me to harness my words, pull them back into a restrained elitist moderated voice. I have decided that the granduer of this cause of freedom is no delusion. I spend quality time talking to the Master of the Universe every day. I know he is listening. Some days, during quiet moments of prayer, in conversation with my Father in Heaven, the very specific guidance I have felt from his Holy Spirit showing me in word pictures what to write, what to say, what to do, has let me know in a very real and specific way that He is interested in what I am doing with this blog.
When one feels that the work they are doing every day is blessed by Heaven, that God himself takes an interest in what is said, what is written, and what is done, then yeah, one can understand why satanic forces, people, and ideas would have a major problem with one freedom loving momma in Colorado.
And, yes, Michelle Malkin is profoundly right that we bloggers cannot allow threats, real or imagined to compel us to stop. Peace through strength is my mantra. Some very evil forces in our world need to be confronted again and again and again, boldly, in full view of the public, and fearlessly by those who love freedom.
If we don't do it, who will?

Anti War Traitors and Whiners
I get email updates from the Commies at ANSWER and this morning an op ed that appeared in the San Francisco paper showed up. It was such a big fat whine fest, I thought I would share a couple lines from it:
"This resurgence of the anti-war movement, and the breadth of its makeup, signifies a sharp turn by the public against the war. But just as tens of thousands were marching in these major city demonstrations, the corporate mass media were fine-tuning their atrocious coverage and providing huge undercounts. As we all know, mass demonstrations have a major ripple effect. Many who are not there learn about the actions and seeing a vibrant anti-war movement feel that they too can be a part of it. A number of major media outlets across the country made tens of thousands of people disappear from the demonstrations and provided often hostile, misleading and false coverage."
Now, from what I have studied these past few days since the Gathering of Eagles counter demonstration, the ANSWER dude is right in the sense that their was ATROCIOUS coverage and huge undercounts. But that bogus coverage was mostly in regards to the Gathering of Eagles demo that happened in DC on March 17th.
I have read most of the articles, editorials, and after action reports linked on Free Republic regarding the Anti War Rally and truth in the Media, and I don't know what the hippies are complaining about.

I am thrilled that the Gathering of Eagles is organzing and planning to meet the street demonstrators in the streets of America. I have long felt that these vermin, with their communist ties, sympathies, and money should have been banned and prevented from polluting Americas Streets, Press, and Schools back in the beginning when certain Patriots in our country said it was a mistake to allow a political force that has as its goal the enslavement of all people's of the world to collectivism allowed to function as a legitimate political party.
They are not a party, they are not legitimate, and they should be confronted and stamped out as the Anti-Freedom revolution they always were.
The only way to deal with them is to pull them out of their little rat holes, expose them to the light of day, and let the people of America see just who they are and just what they want to accomplish in our society.
The absolute fact that the Gathering of Eagles was not covered in the Press lets me know that we have to use New Media to confront and expose.
Here is a response I wrote on a thread at Free Republic. The writer of the article Daniel Halper, posted his thread here:
"Not one soldier, out of around the 15 that I spoke with, regretted joining the army, nor were they worried that America would lose.
What did bother these individuals was the growing animosity at home towards their mission.
They explained to me that the insurgents witness the American media's coverage of coalitions like ANSWER and it instills them with hope.
Becker's aim to incite a transformation has arguably led to more violence and more American lives lost."
ANY group that is directly responsible for giving aid and comfort to the enemy, no matter what their affiliation or political goals should be exposed as the traitors that they are, charged with treason, and then slammed away in the darkest dungeon in America.
The fact that these anti-war socialists wrap themselves in free speech, and desecrate our streets and war memorials with their smelly treasonous affiliations should compel every warm blooded american patriot to confront them boldly and fearlessly on those same Americans streets and shout them down with LOUD Conservative heckling.
It is the only way to deal with them. Fighting fire with fire is an old Biliblcal injunction and it is time to get out the blow torches to help our troops, not just with their morale, but in a real and vibrant visible way so that the insurgents will have absolutely no confusion about how the silent majority in American feel about the War, Our President, and The important and necessary work our troops are doing.
No more silence people, the anti war folks are on the run, getting more desperate, more in your face, and it is time to stamp them out in American Politics. They have the blood of our soldiers on their hands and it is time for them to be held accountable. If our justice department is not willing to confront their free speech, then I suggest we do it on the streets.
You may think I am calling for a blood bath. Nope, Dale Lanham and I confronted with . a non-violent bake sale And we conservatives have hundreds of similar non-violent steps we can take to confront the anti war hippies and the media to get the message out to the troops and those they are fighting that we are no longer going to sit idly by.

I'm praying the Gathering of Eagles is what discredits and exposes the Anti-War Commies once and for all, at least the portrayal in the Media that they are some main stream, grass roots movement....Obey seems to think they are nuts and I give him credit for that.

Another email from the Communists at ANSWER
I just received another email from the Communist Front Gourp ANSWER which is organizing the anti-war rally this saturday at the Pentagon.
It said:
"Dear Jenny
Next Saturday, March 17, tens of thousands of people like you will be marching on the Pentagon to say no to the illegal war and occupation of Iraq. Bush’s escalation of the war will only bring more death and misery to the people of Iraq and increase the number of casualties among U.S. soldiers. We will be marching on the Pentagon because the bloated military war budget will exceed $590 billion, while 47 million people in this country are without health care coverage and one out of four children is born into extreme poverty."
These people really don't get that they in fact are the ones who encourage and give aid and comfort to our enemies in this war. They have so much blood on their hands.
I will be in Denver this saturday demonstrating against them.

Ideas deemed “reactionary” and “politically incorrect” are suppressed through “speech codes” and a collective disapproval that renders them verboten. Unlike previous attempts to interfere with disinterested inquiry, the new political assault comes from faculty insiders who regard their scholarship as a partisan activity and the university as a platform from which they hope to change the world.
The radical attempt to turn schools into agencies for social change is a recent development that coincides with the emergence of “political correctness” as the signature feature of a radicalized academic culture. “Political correctness” is a term that describes an orthodoxy or “party line,” in this case reflecting the agendas of the left. Ideas that oppose leftwing orthodoxy -- opposition to racial preferences, belief in innate differences between men and women or, more recently, support for America’s war in Iraq -- are regarded as morally unacceptable or simply indecent. The proponents of such ideas are regarded as deviants from the academic norm, to be marginalized and shunned."

Just evidence that our Marxist textbooks and indoctrination at teachers colleges have been 100% effective. How to combat this:
I've been wracking my brain over that one for many years. My husband and I homeschooled off and on for five years. When my fifth child was a baby I felt like I was dying, so overwhelmed with everything in my life, so we open enrolled the children in a charter school that still seems to be a good fit, even after four years of attendance.
I know for a fact that our teachers are sharing a variety of socialist views with my children every day, especially in English, History, and Social Studies classes. How can I send them to class knowing they are being propagandized in Communist thought and ideologies every single day?
For me, the benefits of daily spanish language instruction, daily music, band, chorus, and sports outweighs the risks in sending them to school. My three oldest children are at the age when just about everything we teach them is suspect to them. This is normal and healthy development in teens and I pretty much expected it to happen. They have so much regard for various teachers and teachings that Mom and Dads Passion for Conservatism and our Patriotism rings a little hallow for them.
How to keep them from becoming so educated that they don't join the ranks of those americans who are just a little too smart to be patriotic, just a little too degreed to even think of military service as a privledge, so intellectualized that religion and moral living is passe and for the dullards of our society.....
How to do it?
Well, I think we already did it, at least with our four oldest children. We spent years teaching them daily lessons in American History, our Mormon Church history, and we taught them the scriptures (which are all about freedom - The Book of Mormon is especially eloquent in articulating what it takes for individuals, families, and nations to be free) and to love to listen to a prophets voice.
We have filled our home library with patriotic books and occasionally I will see them reading various texts as they conduct research for classes.
Will they stay true? Will they stay filled with light and hope and the promise of Celestial living?
I don't know.
But I do know that I can look my Heavenly Father in the eye and with a heart brimming with hope and pleading for mercy, tell him that I tried my honest best to teach his little ones, these beautiful souls entrusted to Paul and I, true doctrine. They are so busy right now, it is very difficult to find time to teach them the way that we did when we lived the quiet home schooled life. We do read scriptures every morning and have a lesson once a week during Family Night.
I don't know that home school is the be all end all hope for the world. I know many families who believe it is the answer for them, and I heartily salute them for their passion and hard work.
I do believe with all of the false marxist lies being taught to our families from preschool up to the hightest levels of our graduate programs, that the tug and pull of Socialism is eating people alive as they fill their minds up with the feel good notions of collectivism and find themselves enslaved to an ideology that has ruined the lives of millions since its inception and implementation in the various societies who have tolerated and embraced its teachings.
I wholeheartedly Salute David Horowitz for his passion, books, articles, words, activism, and EFFECTIVENESS in fighting this most important fight in our Universities. Perhaps the collective wall that currently surrounds the minds and hearts of our professors and universities will come crashing down the way the Berlin wall fell and communism crashed in the late 80's.
My prayer is that more parents will learn what is at stake when they send their little ones to school to have their minds massaged in communist thought and activism. Perhaps that very awareness will be the antidote we need as a society. Most of my die hard home schooling friends are doing it simply to protect their children from socialist brainwashing.

If we ever go back to home school we will use the Robinson Plan for the outline for our day. It worked very well for three years and I wholeheartedly endorse and support the goals of the Robinson Plan. I think it is the most mother friendly set up out there in the overwhelming world of homeschooling curriculums.

Hillarys reverence for Socialism and Communists
Reading Hillary Rodham's hidden thesis
I'm grateful Bill Dedman opened up this topic of Hillary's thesis and that it is now open for scrutiny and the fact that it will be parsed and picked apart by her foes.
He Said:

I don't really care about Mrs. Clintons college days, although when one is blasted out of university life as a die hard socialist attempting to turn and swim up stream as a moderate while swirling down the rushing river of Democratic nothingness is rather difficult (although it is fun for us to watch).
Hillary has never lived in the real world. She is just like our ivy covered professors. Never held a job, never paid bills, a mortgage...just living and working on the dole of big government.
I am much more concerned about her crimes around her political foes than I ever will be about her communist apologies past and present. She has displayed a ruthlessness and lust for power that is unmatched in American Politics. The many deaths and crimes committed while she has been the wife of the most corrupt politician in American History disqualify her for the most important job of commander in chief.

Is it important that her thesis be analyzed to death? No, she was and is just one of millions of American Women who went to the ivy league as nice conservative girls raised in religious homes and allowed herself to be seduced by the dark side of the political spectrum. Does this disqualify her from public service as President of the United States? No.
What disqualifies her are the many crimes she has committed and never been held accountable for. I wish investigative reporters from MSNBC would add a couple of articles to the many that can be found when "Hillary Clinton, Murder, Fraud, and Crimes" are googled.

PBS Frontline: News War
I watched the documentary News War on PBS the other night. I know, I know, I vowed never to watch them again, but I had heard about this show on the Conservative Blogs and I wanted to watch what they were saying about the internet and blogging in particular.
I decided to comment on a clip from John Carroll (Click here for the whole interview), and was amazed that not only did he completely miss the point of Blogging and the self correcting mechanisms that are in place, but he was so absolutely depressed, contemplating the loss of his gatekeeper roll, and completely at a loss to know what to think and what to do.
THE NEWS:
His big question...
Who is going to pay for it?
With video phones at every event in the world (Including Sadaams Hanging), I think we can safely say that citizen journalists have got things covered in terms of men and women on the "street". As for the ability of the average dolt to figure out what those You Tube videos mean, for John C, he figures that unless some socialist with a journalism degree from Harvard is analyzing and spoon feeding the context of that news to us plebians who make up the great unwashed masses of America and the world, we just don't have the brains to figure it out for ourselves.
He really does not understand the power of the web, or the fact that newspapers were not serving the Capitalist and Conservative half of the population in America for decades. The fact that the publishing world collectively promotes Marxism is indisputable. Except for a few journals, magazines, a little big of conservative press, and the Conservative Chronicle, for decades the socialists in our society ruled the day.

I have an idea for John and his reporter friends, editors, and editorialists. As print media winds down, we the people are still going to have a need for newspapers.
You know... to line our bird cages, help train our puppies, and to use to start fires when camping. Because of this great need, I would like to suggest that John start a new American Paper.
He could call it something catchy...like Pravda, and all the die hards in the journalism world who are in deep shock and mourning that the newspapers are dying, could write for it, and they could make it a non-profit, and sell it to people who need that paper to use as a pooper scooper for their dogs.
